Giuncata is a white cheese, soft and uniform, with a shape similar to a large candy, with a sweet, very light, delicate and fresh flavour.
its name derives from cane (“giunco”), which in ancient times was produced in wood and in which this cheese was packaged. This table cheese is usually eaten sliced as an appetiser.
