Schiacciatine

 

They are fresh spun paste cheeses. Their shape is similar to that of a “piadina”, characterized by a smooth uniform and clear surface, snowy white coloured.  They have elastic consistency and their paste has different layers which disappear in the middle.

Their taste is mild and delicate, their smell fresh and pleasant. They are usually eaten as starter or with crostini, snacks and main dishes.
